Ronseal partners with PRO14

In September 2018, Ronseal announced a two-year deal with the PRO14, our first foray into sports sponsorship alongside our partnership with the Rugby Football League (RFL).

We set ourselves the goal of finding a partner who aligned with our core values of performance, durability and integrity. Our partnerships are designed to bring us closer to our customers, for example with our partnership with the Men’s Shed Association, born earlier this year from Ronseal’s desire to educate millennials and younger generations on the benefits of being DIY savvy. To help bridge the DIY skills gap in the UK and reinforce Ronseal role within the community.

As the UK & Ireland’s trusted woodcare brand, we understand the importance of the home and the need for a strong community. Rugby is focused around the local and places a huge value on community – this was a fundamental reason for our pursuing the PRO14 as a partner.

Our partnership sees the Ronseal logo feature on the collar of the match official kits. Furthermore, as a tournament partner of the Guinness PRO14, the Ronseal brand will appear on the big screen during TMO decisions. The deal also extends to a sponsorship of the Guinness PRO14 Tackle Machine Award, which was won this year by Osprey’s back row James King following on from last year’s victor Olly Robinson.

Ronseal and PRO14 will work together on match activations and competitions to reward loyal rugby fans up and down the country. We want to put the fans at the forefront of this partnership, bringing us closer to both our key customers and the wider rugby community.
