Born out of the desire to give back to the local community, Ronseal enlisted the help of England Rugby League players past and present to help with Ronseal’s initiative to support grassroots clubs. Jamie Peacock, Oliver Gildart, Stefan Ratchford and Ben Currie tested their DIY skills as they helped complete a makeover of Hindley ARLFC in Wigan as part of Ronseal’s Pride in the community.

On the 15th September, an army of volunteers, plus England players past and present, descended to Hindley ARLFC in Wigan to help with a complete makeover of the club. Ronseal products were used to transform 4 changing rooms and 2 dugouts of the amateur rugby league club. Paul, the Centre Manager says how this facility is essential to local groups and their way of life, and this is a real boost for the rugby team players and the community.

The local families were invited along to the club to show their support and passion for the club, as well as meet their rugby heroes and try their luck to win Oliver Gildart’s Rugby boots on Ronseal’s Tackle-o-meter and Big Can.

The club, which is a centre point of the local area, is now completely transformed and remains a fundamental venue for the community of Hindley.
