How do the colours look?
Use on...
Make sure the radiators are turned off and cold before you can paint. When sanding, always wear a face mask and open doors and windows for added ventilation.
- Clean your radiators so they’re free from dirt, grease and loose materials.
- Remove any dust and quickly sand the radiators as this will help the paint to stick.
- Give the tin a good stir before you apply the paint to make sure it’s smooth and there are no lumps or bumps.
- Apply the first coat evenly and finish with a vertical stroke.
- Wait six hours for the first coat to dry.
- Apply the second and final coat.
- Wait 24 hours for the paint to completely dry before you turn the radiator back on.
Cleaning
Once the radiators are completely dry, you can clean them like normal.
Bushes can be cleaned in warm soapy water.
This can’t be used directly on rusty radiators, but one coat is brilliant at preventing rust from developing.
