Great paint by ronseal by Great New Decking Paint
I have painted over 60 sq mtrs of old decking and it has transferred it from old to new. My only issue is the paint is a lot lighter than the example on the outside of the tin. Well worth the money and saves replacing the decking.

Does exactly what it said on the tin by Mark Mewett
After laying a second hand deck at the beginning of the summer and after a quick brush down I stained my deck with a competitors product. unfortunately within days the stain began to wear through. This could have been due to lack of preparation; however, having stripped the deck back and using Ronseal deck rescue Paint, it is obviously thicker and more durable from the get go and gives a much more robust appearance. All in all an impressive result.

Ronseal Deck Rescue Paint
If your deck is looking a bit worse for wear, you don't need to replace it. Rescue it!
Our Decking Rescue Paint fills in small cracks and covers grey wood, making your deck look as good as new. A good clean and a couple coats of paint is all it takes to give your deck a new look.
Before You Start
Choose a warm, dry day (above 10°C) and clear everything off the deck.
You'll need to give your decking a good scrub with a deck brush. This will remove dirt, loose bits of wood and any loose coatings. Then hose it down thoroughly, or better still, give it a blast with a jet wash. You need to get rid of all the dirt, if you don't the paint won't stick to your wood.
To get the best result use our Cleaner and Reviver - this will make the paint stick better and last longer. Let your deck dry fully before painting.
Using Your Paint
Give the paint a good stir, it's best to use something wide like an old wooden spoon. Check you're happy with the colour. Find a hidden part of the deck and try it. Get loads of paint on your brush. Start in the furthest corner, brushing along the length of the boards. Work on 3-4 boards at a time so you don't get any overlap marks. If your deck has got small cracks, brush in extra paint until they're filled.
You'll need to put on 2 coats. Leave 4 hours between each coat. After 48 hours you'll be able to get your furniture out and use the deck.
Scrape as much paint off the brush as you can. Then wash it out in warm, soapy water. Don't empty any left over paints into drains or watercourses. Your local authority may have special ways to get rid of unused paints.
Check your deck once a year. If it's showing signs of wear put on another coat of Decking Rescue Paint on.
Usage Areas: Ridge or smooth hardwood or softwood decking.
Coverage: With 2 coats this 2.5L tub will cover approximately 10m2 on ridged boards, and 12m2 on smooth planed boards.
Clean Up: Wash your brushes out in warm, soapy water.
